Do I take insurance?
-
Currently, I am in network with BCBS. If you have other coverage check with your insurance plan to see if it covers out-of-network providers. There may be a potential of you being reimbursed by your insurance company. We can discuss this further if your plan has this coverage.

Do I provide telehealth (virtual) sessions?
-
Yes, I do offer virtual sessions. These sessions are provided over a HIPAA compliant software. As long as you are physically within the state of SC I can provide therapy via telehealth sessions.

How often do therapy sessions happen?
-
Usually I recommend once a week or every other week to start. The beginning of therapy is for you and I to learn to get to know each other and for me to get a better understanding of what concerns are bringing you into therapy.

How does Walk and Talk therapy and confidentiality work together?
-
Prior to participating in any outdoor sessions we will go over any concerns you may have and review the separate informed consent form that is dedicated to Walk and Talk therapy sessions. This will go over how we both would like to handle any situations in which we run into someone we may know, the fact that we are in a public space and somethings may be overheard and how you feel about this, and an understanding of that the purpose is for therapy not for exercise.
